The Second World War is one of those historical periods that will undoubtedly be studied over and over again for decades, if not centuries to come. Even with all the memories and records that were lost to war and destruction we are still digging up more and more information to fill our textbooks and libraries with.

“Killing Reagan” by Bill O'Reilly and Martin Dugard – The bullet that Changed it All

With the kind of security the President of the United States benefits from today, it would be hard to imagine someone succeeding in an assassination. No resources are spared in ensuring the safety of arguably the country's most important person, whether it be intelligence investigations, armoured cars, or security agents.

“Killing Patton” by Bill O'Reilly and Martin Dugard – Lifting the Veil of Mystery

The General George Patton is certainly one of the more recognizable historical figures on the Allies' side during both World Wars, having many heroics and victories to his name. The amount of exploits he is known for would take years to enumerate, though sadly, amongst them is his death.

It can be argued that in the grand scheme of things, today there are two different “sides” to Jesus. The first one is the religious Jesus, the pale-skinned white man who came down on Earth to share the teachings of his father, the one who died on the cross and got resurrected three days later. The other one is the real Jesus, a very average Middle-Eastern man who became a cult leader before being brutally assassinated by the Romans.

Bill O’Reilly has always been known as a bit of a smart sensationalist who can make even big and important issues understandable to the layman. He runs his own show, and despite having some personal biases and preferences, he does his best to depict and describe things the way in which he truly sees them. Many people, me included, find it commendable that he turned his efforts to writing books, as he does a pretty good job at it, as can be seen in what is arguably his and Martin Dugards's most famous work, Killing Lincoln: The Shocking Assassination that Changed America Forever .

Author of the widely-successfully Killing Lincoln , it seems that Bill O’Reilly and Martin Dugard have a sort of fascination with assassinations on presidents.
