"90 Minutes in Heaven" by Don Piper and Cecil Murphey

The question as to what happens after death is one which bugs us all from time to time and only a select few have ever had the opportunity to witness what was on the other side… and come back to tell us. One of these people is a Baptist minister by the name of Don Piper who had the misfortune of colliding with a semi-truck which crossed into his lane.

At the scene, Piper was pronounced dead. However, it seems as if fate had other plans in store for him as Piper spent the next 90 minutes walking on the thin line between life and death.

During that time, Piper claims to have met a number of people who have spiritually influence him, not to mention that he remembers hearing some beautiful music playing… but most importantly, he felt truly at piece.

Even though he was pronounced dead, Piper rose back to life in something which is probably dubbed as a miracle and until now, he chose not to share his experience as to what happens after life in a book titled 90 Minutes in Heaven: A True Story of Death and Life. As you can imagine, this book is dedicated to describing the whole experience, not to mention what he went through during the long and painful recovery that followed.
