"Fifty Shades of Grey" by E.L. James

E.L. James is a television executive who always dreamed of writing her own books. However, she is also a wife and a mother of two, and as you can imagine such a schedule leaves very few openings for hobbies, let alone heavy duty tasks such as writing an entire book.

However, those dreams were not thrown in the gutter; they were simply put on hold until an opportunity would present itself, which is precisely what happened not too long ago. Finally finding the time, strength and inspiration to put together a book, E.L. James started writing her first novel, Fifty Shades of Grey, which was published on March 5th, 2012.

In a nutshell, it tells the story of literature student Anastasia Steele who has the opportunity to interview a young and very successful entrepreneur, Christian Grey. Needless to say, Anastasia falls in love with him the moment he speaks… but she believes that the interview did not go well and simply tries to get him out of her head.

However, doing that becomes a little complicated once Grey pays a visit to the store where Anastasia works. Without revealing more about the plot, this is a story which contains all the elements of a great book, being erotic, amusing, dramatic, and very profoundly-moving. Also, it should be mentioned that this book is the first of the trilogy; E.L. James is currently working on the next book.
