"The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom" by Don Miguel Ruiz
Life is a very long and complicated phenomenon and as much as we would like to believe that we do know what is going on and why, the fact of the matter is that we can really know nothing; the amount of potential explanations for how this world works is simply unimaginable, and looking into different scenarios and paths is never useless.
After all, there is no evidence to support one theory over the other, so instead of arguing and fighting about who is right we should simply try to seek personal freedom and peace of mind in our own ways.
Don Miguel Ruiz is a proponent of the Toltec wisdom beliefs and in his book The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom he shares what he believes to be the path to truly achieve personal freedom.
Of course, don Miguel Ruiz provides much more than simple declarative statements as he actually argues his point of view based on his knowledge and experience. He is aware that it is possible for his views to wrong; he is not trying to convince anyone of anything… he is rather simply sharing wisdom and knowledge which he believes to be true. In the end, his goal is to help people pave a way towards "grace, peace, and unconditional love".
